Basically the TouchPad on my computer went out and I needed a mouse for my laptop and it worked perfectly.

Like all Logitech mice, this one's scroll wheel is loud and feels scratchy. I've been using Logitech mice off and on for more than 25 years, this noisy little mouse has the same old behavior.It's not necessarily a bad thing, and you get used to it. But, if you're used to a mouse that's relatively quiet and smooth, you might look elsewhere. My old Microsoft Wheel Mouse just died, and its scroll wheel was almost silent--and was really great to use. Unfortunately, it's no longer made.

Wanted a cheap mouse for my kid to use that wouldn't get lost, so I went with corded one. It works well. I know these are meant for old school desktop computers but I wish the cord was atleast a bit shorter

When I was (much) younger, Logitech used to be THE company for reasonably-priced, reliable products. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Starting using this mouse at the beginning of Dec 21. Here we are, March of 22. It's set on my desk for my home office the entire time. All the sudden, the buttons reverse and it doesn't work for you-know-what. Not dropped or anything. Logitech used to be great, but everything I've gotten from them lately has been absolutely terrible.

I had a fancy gaming mouse and it only lasted 6 months, this one is pretty standard but it works and is a good value !
