Have you ever received an e-mail and thrown your head back due to the sheer stupidity of the topic/question and injured your neck in doing so? We all have. Hi, I'm Connor and I want to tell you about the Lorell Hi-Back Chair Mesh Headrest, Black - LLR85562 or Dumb E-Mail Whiplash Preventer (DE-MWP). With the included recessed bolts and Allen wrench you can attach this DE-MWP to your chair to provide head and neck support while at your chair. Feel safe opening up that FW: FW: FW: FW: FW: from Grandma or the person asking for clarification on what you meant by per my last e-mail, knowing that your head and neck are safe from the whiplash that may have ensued prior to installing this headrest to your chair. The mesh features a goldilocks mix of both comfort and support while being vertically adjustable with available tilting adjustments as well. I recommend this product to all my friends and while I cannot speak from my own experience it is apparently possible to attach this headrest with clamps and other tools to other chairs. Read those e-mails in peace and protect your neck.

We used zip ties to tie it to the frame of our office chair. The clamps other people used would slip because of the chair frames curvature.

I purchased the same exact clamps specified in the other reviews and unfortunately, it's just not sturdy at all. I couldn't find a position that felt comfortable and it definitely shifted around no matter how tight I clamped it down. I'm overall not satisfied with this bushfix solution as it definitely won't last. I'm returning it :(

You would need two extra c clamps for most chairsAlso, the screws are NOT 1/4, you would need to buy extra ones.Warning:After installed, the headrest kept sliding down. So dissatisfied...

As I refuse to get rid of my old office chair to buy a more expensive one with a headrest, I chose to Frankenstein this onto my chair and it worked great!I just drilled two pilot holes into the chair than used my drill with the alan wrench adapter to secure in place. Screws and Alan wrench are included. You could manually put in the screws it'll just take some extra elbow grease but all in all it took me less than 10 minutes to install. The only thing I wish this headrest had would be a tilt forward/backward arm. I usually like to sit in my chair reclined back a bit and if the headrest were able to move forward a few inches would've been ideal, but as it is it's still a great item!

It works like real head rest for 9000. Easy to attach directly. I was concerned initially that it's angled and too much forward but it works well for the limited time I used it.See pictures to compare

Not a natural fit for my quantum 9000, managed to make it work with cable ties.

I followed the C-clamp instructions to attach this to my aeron, but there were some issues. If you use the unobstructed holes on the back of the clamp, the slider is no longer perpendicular to the ground, and the headrest sticks too far in to be comfortable. If you use the obstructed holes on the corners of the clamps, the provided screws are too long so the headrest wobbles and can't feel right. I solved this problem by using a few washers and lock-nuts to 'shorten' the screws by about 4mm. It now works for me in that position.

Mounted to my new Hon mesh chair with the camvate universal c-clamps as recommended in other reviews. My clamps work best in a different clamping position (see pic) though. I didn't want to drill the chair as option 1... note that clamps required washers for me when bolting headrest into corner holes - the headrest bolts are too long for the clamp corner holes. Not a big deal. I tried clamping in 4 positions. Movement is not acceptable for me. The set up in pic is best, it doesn't move at all and headrest has full range of motion. Highly recommend headrest and clamps as of day 1. Will post update if the clamps dont stay put or headrest has issues. No updates means this combo is still 5 stars.

With the C clamp, this item fits perfectly well with my Workpro Quantum 9000.

I like the headset and with two clamps purchased separately it stays firmly on my chair and you can adjust the height and angles. Everything is good except I wish it could be adjusted to be forward for ergo function. Still recommend it.
