Compact easy to use. There isn't a digital read out to show the volume but this isn't a problem for the user.

It does not take the place of customized hearing aids but is very helpful until I get the hearing aids. Batteries need to be changed every 5 to 6 days when using most if the day.

At first I was really botherd by scratchy noise, particularly when moving the plug. I replaced the earpiece with a good set of binaaural buds and the noise is gone! BTW, the unit seems to be binaural in function.

This is an amplifier, not a hearing aid. It works very well as an amplifier, producing substantial gain--in other words it can get very LOUD, depending on the setting of the volume control. Having said that, it is noisy (static) but can be of help to the hearing impaired despite that. So I'd say for the money, it's worth a try.

The wired earbud is ok except the wire is too rigid and therefore hard to keep the earbud in place. I now use a loose wired earbud.Can't you smart folks come up with a wireless mic and earbud?

These are very good for the elderly at church. We are very proud how they pick up and the people can really hear the preacher, singing and ECT. So they are very happy.

I bought this for a friend of mine who is currently in a convalescent facility. Hearing aids were hurting his ears, and I don't really think was getting the job run done right. Plus all the battery exchange was a hassle. When he was admitted to the hospital the Laud ear device was used by several of the staff. He heard great, it's very lightweight easy to insert, and pretty much does exactly what it supposed to do. One downside, of course the loud ear magnifies everything. If you are in a noisy environment, such as a dining hall, it's pretty difficult to hear anything. That being said, one on one, in a quiet room, visiting with an elderly person, the Loud ear works quite well. I would definitely buy one again if needed.

My brother in law used this to hear medical staff such as Doctors, physical therapy staff, nurses, etc.After being home, he struggled hearing on the telephone! No problem after he had this. Volume was great!!

I am 70 years old with hard earing. One year ego I bougth a miracle ear aid, cost me $350 I paid All state insurance, the product failed, I was unable to get replacement or the money back. Today I did received this $40 cost. I am excited by the quality, easy and convenient setup My visits to the doctor will be fantastic. No more silence around me.

Used for over 90 year old friend that barely hears in one ear and cannot hear in the other ear at all. It works great as long as you sit beside her and keep it in her ear.

I bought this device for my elderly Aunt. She has severe hearing loss and a conventional hearing aid would be of no use. This device does provide marginal help.
