Mission: The mission of the foundation is to provide support to families with a child battling a brain tumor, to raise awareness about pediatric brain tumors, to provide assistance to further research in the field of pediatric brain tumors and to provide information and resources through the organization's website.

Programs: "there's a monkey in my chair" program is designed for preschool and elementary aged children who are missing school because of cancer. Each child is provided with a monkey kit featuring a large stuffed monkey that takes their place in school when they are unable to be there. The kit includes a packpack, book and other items that can be utilized by the child and their classmates including a secure way to send e-mails and pictures to one another. The program has been utilized by more than 100 hospitals nationwide.
