Lundberg Organic California rice products are one of the few worldwide whose fields are not sprayed with arsenic. Worldwide, rice fields can be sprayed with arsenic (used as a drying agent), and still labeled “organic”. Caveat Emptor!

This is going to be our new go-to rice for chipotle bowls. The rice is so flavorful (sweet and nutty) and has a great texture. Everyone loved it!

I first gave up animal products in college in the early 70's. Back then, there was no Whole Foods (I used to shop at the first one in Austin), no internet or online, and such stuff as brown rice was basically sold at very high prices in health food stores. These younger people are whining on here about whether this Lundberg rice is brown basmati or not. So what! It's superb rice at a great price, low in arsenic and fresh in scent and in feel. I got the big bulk bag then broke it down with Mylar bags and O2 absorbers, to live in my freezer until I need each one. I feel so very, very fortunate that products such as this are available at all. I'm old enough to know what it was like without Lundberg available like this.

I've been eating this stuff for a couple years now and its so good. (The bag is cute too) Use it for stuffing peppers or grape leaves or if you're using it as a side for a meal, soak the rice for an hour then rinse it, heat a couple tbs of butter in a saucepan, add chopped onions then garlic then the rice and let it fry on the pan for a minute or two, then add equal amount of broth like chicken broth and some salt and simmer covered for 25-30 minutes. Perfect.

If you're reading this, likely you're already are a rice lover and this rice won't disappoint. Unlike other imported dry food which don't always follow the healthy guidelines. This rice is grown here in the U.S. and it is one of the healthiest choice you can make.Yes, I know most things healthy are tasteless, but Lindbergh wild blend rice smells and taste great.It is called wild blend because it is mixed with wild rice which taste amazing and it's so expensive! (If you are buying it alone) But with this particular wild blend, it has some of the wild rice mixed with it, enough that you can see and taste it. Good stuff, which adds to the health benefits. Plus the cooking time isn't too long like other organic rice. We see all the food shortage lately, it's time to buy and support local and national farms and farmers while getting all the benefits of a tasty rice. Great flavor, versatile and a great value.

I mostly use the black rice to make forbidden rice pudding and it does really well! I do recommend washing the rice first before cooking. I also really like that this is an American company that has good quality control and product standards. There are a lot of other companies that sell a worse product for almost twice the price!

This is one of the better tasting black rice products that I've bought. Earthy crisp flavor, and not from china. I do think that it's a little high priced.
