Excellent handles for files between 6 and 8 inches long. The wood handles look to be maple and the holes are pre drilled dead-on perpendicular so my files are not crooked after inserting. I just used a dry “friction fit” on mine so I can change them out again later. Holds very tight without epoxy, glue or heating and seating with a torch. I'd highly recommend these for files smaller than 9”.
