Exactly what I needed for an outboard without enough clearance to use the tube type trim rod support. This spacer works perfectly on the tilt roads advertised.

I use it on a Mercury 115hp. I've had it for over 2 years now. It's held up and haven't had any issues. It seems to help with motor bounce as well over railroad tracks and large bumps. Pretty satisfied with it.

Used on a Boston Whaler sport 130. I drove 500 miles and it stayed in place just fine. The price was way too high for just a chunk of rubber. That being said its for a boat and if you want to save money, don't buy/own a boat.

Keeps the motor from bouncing as much when driving on rough roads. Absorbs the impact of weight of motor. Easy to install and remove.

I have tried to be informative and not negative of the M-Y Wedge Single Ram. Seems to me as though this M-Y Wedge Single Ram is the best choice. There is considerable controversy on line concerning transom savers. This M-Y Wedge Single Ram does seem to cushion the motor from road bumps. Yamaha doesn't sell a product for my motor only for double ram. Yamaha does state three time in the engine manual to not use the the tilt locks provided. The small levers which do lock the motor in up position are only for working on the motor not for trailering. The lesser of evils the M-Y Wedge Single Ram wins for today. I have tried to be informative and not negative of the M-Y Wedge Single Ram. I just purchased the M-Y Wedge Single Ram and have not been able to use and judge the product.

Used on my Yamaha 40, just pop it over the rod and you're set, greatly reduces bouncing when traveling. Just don't forget it's there, wish it came in colors

Bends and buckles like it should to soften the ride. Reforms itself after removal. Wish they made some models a little longer for different applications.

Using the M-Y Wedge single on a 90hp four stroke, works prefect. Easy on off, no crawling around under a wet boat, stores easily anywhere.
