Mission: MADRE is an international women's rights organization and feminist fund that partners with community-based, women-led and girl-led organizations on the frontlines of war, disaster and their aftermath. We advance human rights and social justice by meeting urgent needs in communities and creating lasting solutions that transform the root causes of crisis.

Together with local partner organizations and activists worldwide,
we work towards a world in which all people enjoy the fullest range of individual and collective human rights; in which resources are shared equitably and sustainably; in which women participate effectively in all aspects of society; and in which people have a meaningful say in decisions that affect their lives.

Our three program areas are: Ending Gender Violence; Building Just Peace; and Advancing Climate Justice.

MADRE is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1984, and donations are tax-deductible.
