Mission: MANNA FoodBank's mission is to involve, educate, and unite people in the work of ending hunger in Western North Carolina (WNC). Through collaborative partnerships with over 220 agencies, we are committed to providing food with hope, dignity, and without discrimination to our most vulnerable residents. MANNA's Feeding Children Year-Round program provides nutritious food to children in need when free school meals are not available. Our Community Outreach Helpline provides vital information about local food and other resources, and helps callers to apply for SNAP and other stabilizing benefits. MANNA is committed to addressing the intersection between food insecurity and the health disparities that plague those in poverty by providing nutritious, balanced food options and by reaching high need underserved communities across our 16-county service area. MANNA is a non-partisan organization dedicated to educating the public and policy makers on issues affecting people in poverty.

MANNA FoodBank is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1984, and donations are tax-deductible.
