I have bought 10 of these tool holders. Everyone mounts perfectly on my BXA tool post. My tool post came on my lathe new so it's not the same manufacturer. Yet they all hold repeatable height and mount flawlessly every single time. I'm a toolmaker ( tool die ) by trade. I use these tool holders everyday with excellent results. I have so many I have to question other people's reviews. Getting ready to order 2 more right now.

Bought this for my 250 size post. When i used it i found the gap too large to lock. Had to use an 0.030 shim in the gap to get the wedge post to lock. Should have bought the same brand as my post but it will work with the shim.

It's undersized by 100 thou and won't snug up against the tool post. I bought 4 and they are all like that. It sets a new low for Chinese junk. Stay away, buy somewhere else.

Fits Aloris, Dorian and Phase II 200 series or BXA quick change tool posts. Look and quality look remarkedly good. Should work fine when it will be needed
