Mission: Michigan Cat Rescue was founded on April 11,2003.We are an IRS qualified 501(c)3 charitable organization and State of Michigan non-profit organization. We are a no-kill rescue made up of a small network of volunteers. Many of our cats are rescued from high kill shelters and are on death row. We also rescue cats that have been abandoned, abused, and neglected. Since we are a small organization all of our cats are placed into foster homes and given the care and love that they need until forever homes can be found. All of our cats are fully vetted and cleared before adoption. We rely solely on donations and community support to care for our cats. Since our founding in 2003 we have saved the lives of thousands of cats.
