Mission: Michigan Legacy Art Park inspires awareness, appreciation and passion for Michigan's history, culture and environment through the arts.

Results: Michigan Legacy Art Park opened in 1995 under the artistic vision and leadership of sculptor David Barr. Since then the Art Park has grown to include 45 sculptures, 30 poetry stones, a successful concert series, an education program that makes positive impacts on student learning, and attracts over 10,000 visitors each year. The organization has expanded its capacity with a new full-time executive director position. Organization leadership is focused on creating a master plan to guide future growth and development and implementing a new artist residency program.
