Causes: Health, Health Support
Mission: We do three very distinct things:1.When perfectly good medical and mobility equipment is no longer needed people have a hard time figuring out what to do with it. They want to put to some good use; but don't know where to turn. We happily take it from them as a donation that will go to a worth cause. 2.We refurbish the equipment and make it available to anyone at a very reasonable "suggested minimum donation" amount. Many of the items we offer go out the door for what others charge per month. 3.And finally, what we take in above our expenses is made available for those with MS who are experiencing financial difficulty.
Results: We have helped thousands since 1999 and saved hundreds with MS in their hour of peril.
Target demographics: Providing more affordable Medical and Mobility equipment for people with all disabilities. And what we take in above our expenses we give out as Financial Aid to those with MS in the Northwest.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We partnered with the NMSS to help dozens of people with MS who were in serious financial straits.
Geographic areas served: Washington State
