This is exactly as you would expect from an army wool blanket. It is perfect, warm and has that snuggly wool feel us wool lovers love. After some use, i am happy with this purchase and I would recommend this blanket.

This is a great wool blanket, soft and warm. I followed others instructions, washed in cool water, dried with dryer sheets and cleaned the Lint trap every 10 minutes or so. Well worth the price.

This is so well made that it's the type of item you would say ,boy they don't make em like that anymore,but apparently they still do! I have very high marks on quality to price ratio.Get yourself one and I guarantee that you will be quiet pleased with your purchase,I certainly was.

This is extremely warm for the fact it is thin. I stood in high winds and kept warm and felt buffeted by the blanket. I am extremely impressed by how well it has kept up, stayed warm and resisted the elements. It stayed warm after getting snowed on and damp.Amazing blanket and would purchase again!

It's a wool blanket. It smells because it's wool. If you don't want a blanket that smells like wool don't buy it.

This blanket is RANK! It has the strongest smell of petroleum that will stink up every room you have it in. I purchased this blanket to cover my pit bull's Serta dog bed with, and she wouldn't have anything to do with it, and neither would I. I washed it three times, first in cold water, then two more times in warm water. I ran this blanket in the dryer (three times) on low after each wash, then ran it on air dry only another three hours, cleaning the lint filter every 15 minutes. This blanket is not only the foulest smelling blanket, but the amount of lint that comes off of it is also the worst of anything I have ever dried before.In summary, I wouldn't have this blanket in any enclosed space, not even an auditorium, even if you paid me to.

The blanket is just like the one I had in the Army. Great if you're a Trucker and have many deliveries in the northeast during winter. Awesome blanket!
