Blanket is very warm, large size. I use it for emergency blanket in my car and camping. The first time you wash and dry the blanket it releases alot of fiber so check your dryer vent periodically. Otherwise good blanket for the cost and size.

I haven't slept this well in years. There isn't enough good things I can say other than wash before using the first time to remove the smell from what ever the smell comes from then just enjoy!

Wool needs easy care ,hand wash, air dry.Heavy wool by the pound is expensive.This is priced right.Naturally fire retardant, naturally water proof, with natural lanolin animal fat oils.When wet is keeps you dry and warm when a cotton blanket soaks thru and gets you wet you will get coldbut not with wool.

It's a pretty good blanket! Took it camping in the cold weather to help me retain some extra heat by throwing it over my sleeping bag, and it definitely helped. It is a relatively dense fabric, but that's also what helps it keep you warm so I would hardly consider that an issue. Can recommend!

The blanket had an 80 woolcontent and keeps individuals warm in the winter season so it is good to have around when chilly weather is present.

keeps warm. can use it as a pillow or throw-down and its easy to clean and pack on top with some straps or paracord. not the comfiest but definitely a good camping blanket.

I didn't fine it warm enough. i washed it in cold water with little detergent in washing machine air dry over 4 chairs instead of flat over night in high desert. yup, it hold the shape still. No problem. No lint. it still smells, but it's okay. Not as soft and less itchy as i like it to be. the more that you wash wool, the softer it gets. i own nothing but real natural wool , cashmere, camel hair, silk,... from around the world. Trash the synthetic. it's best price and i would order again. i do love the olive military green color. great price and good quality enough to dirty it and didn't care.

Ok so this is a weird story but that's me. I bought this blanket for my Friday night barn nights. Fridays my buddies and me meet at a friend's barn and drink. I don't like to drink and drive so I sleep in my truck in his driveway, I know why not inside? I wake up early and I snore really loud so I don't want to disturb his wife and kids. I bought this blanket for my truck and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely love it.

I purchased these to use in lieu of a sleeping bag. Firstly, these are not thick wool blankets. They are heavy as expected, but I bought 2 blankets to compensate for the lack of thickness. These are quite warm if you wrap yourself properly. I use a light sleeping bag liner to help hold it all together, and I stayed warm and toasty at 35 degree F. I would not use these for anything much colder probably without some additional layers. I plan to take these instead of a sleeping bag for my everest base camp trek also. They will be far more comfortable than a restrictive sleeping bag and keep me warm in the unheated teahouses. As a bonus, wool naturally repels bed bugs, so that will be useful when bunking in remote mountain lodges in Nepal where cleanliness is sometimes questionable.

This blanket is not super soft but that is to be expected for wool. It's got some weight to it. It's very warm. I can definitely use it at home but I mostly bought it for camping and for when around the backyard fire pit.I would recommend.
