Easy to use and clean

Blanket came today, it's heavy! A slight smell but had to put my face right to it to smell it, probably just hanging to air out would be enough but I washed it in Woolite, very little fuzzies left in washer. I dried on air only with 3 dryer sheets 2 dryer balls. The pictures are from the lint screen top to bottom, after 10min, 20min 30min. ( I have gotten that much dog hair washing his blanket) I expected much more, it's still a little damp so I hung it over 2 lines, damp it does smell like wet wool, again face right against material to smell. Still heavy as heck to lift over my head hang. Looking thru to bright light there is light visible, I believe needed for the fabric to breath, but nothing extreme no holes, serging around edges all intact.I plan to use it camping, I don't care for sleeping bags. It is big I am short so I plan to fold it end to end then sleep w with it under folded over me with another quilt/blanket over it.So far I think this is every bit as good as Army Surplus.IF It still smells, starts falling apart, is in some other way not what I expect or want I will edit this review. Right now it's exactly what I expected maybe more after reading some negative reviews.

It was everything thing i wanted, and it was delivered in a very timely otder. I give it a thumb up for that.

I got 2 for camping and my dog loves them so much that I got 2 more for the back seat dog hammock seat cover. Should either hand wash these or wash them on gentle. I soak them in the tub and then run a no spin cycle. Hang dry if possible. That's going to get them most out of them without losing as much fabric and keep fabric from fluffing up. Wool gets itchy for me after it fluffs up.

Large and warm.

These blankets are very nice, and you will be glad to use them. Mine are in our go bags if we have to bug-out. [fire, earthquake] Smaller footprint then a sleeping bag.

Some people complain about the smell but it doesn't have a super strong smell and it just smells like gun oil... I love the smell of gun oil...

They keep me warm I bought two,they are nice not itchy like wool can be.

This wool blanket served it's purpose for the short amount of time i carried it with me. It wicked away moisture fairly well and dried out just as easy after being dampened. I would easily recommend this too anyone trying to avoid losing body heat when outdoors.

Bought these blankets to sit by our Solo stove on cold nights. Blankets keep us warm and toasty by the stove! We love them!!!

I'm completely happy with this. It's light and warm. Smells like wool. If people don't want wool, don't buy it. I'm using it in the house and will use it for camping as part of a piecemeal sleep system. I'll definitely buy more.

I got this wool blanket to keep off the chill of cold nights. It's very soft and light weight, but thinner than other wool blankets I have. Thus, it isn't quite as warm. Better than a cotton throw at keeping in heat, but not as much as heavier wool. Unless you're out in the tundra, this should be sufficient.

The US print in black lettering was missing.I'm a USMC veteran and that was the main reason I purchased this blanket

Like in the title, this blanket is very soft and light. A lot better than the scratchy issued wool blankets. Definitely something good to have as backup/keep in your car for the winter

It's big, green, and heavyMaybe needs a wash, I believe this has been sitting on a storage shelf a long time. Appears to be real solid , quality and I am for the most part extremely satisfied and know it will serve it purpose. Will wash it tomorrow and hang dry and add it to my bed roll kit.

Can't get the smell out. Smells like oil.

This is a great blanket. After it's been washed and had a week to air out.On deliver it has a chemical funk that fills the entire room wich had my wife banish it down the laundry shoot. Definitely worth the money but be prepared when it arrives.
