Easy to put on and take off, works well at keeping you dry. Worth the price to have a reusable poncho instead of those flimsy ones. However, it is huge!! So just be aware if you are short that it might come down to your ankles. Its also a pain to get back into the little pouch that comes with it.

I've had Froggs before in the poncho. It worked well to go over my backpack when bike riding and never leaked.I came across this one in Today's Deals and couldn't pass it up. It ain't Northface, but it ain't $200 either

First time buying a poncho like this. There's a very thin lining so hopefully it will not be as hot as those cheap pocket ones. Very large and covers a LOT. Seems large enough to cover a BIG back pack - but I will have a small one on. The hood is really nice because it has a drawstring so you can have it close to your face. It's a tad similar to a tarp so I'm not sure how well it would hold up for true hikers - getting torn, etc. But is is perfect for the small amount of exploring I will be doing on vacation. It folds nicely into the cover and will pack nicely in your suitcase, etc.

My husband and I purchased these for a trip to Florida in March and they worked AMAZING! They are large enough to cover yourself even with a backpack on. Also they are fairly long which allows for coverage of majority of your body from the rain. Also if you put your hands inside the poncho you can hold it out and even cover your feet from the pouring rain. A MUST BUY FOR A FLORIDA VACATION.

I like that I have not had to use it, but I have it for rainy days.

Plastic rain tapes makes me feel claustrophobic in the head neck is always too small. This has an ample neck area but the hood itself will pull down with a drawstring to the face so it's comfortable. But the Cape itself isn't hot! It actually breathes And yet it is totally waterproof. I've used it twice I am in a wheelchair and it's actually big enough that I can unsnap one of the under arms and the whole back of the cap will go over mt chair back So I don't have rain water running down my back through the seat on the battery compartment. I know my situation is unique, and if you were a normal sized person it would just be a generous Raine cape/poncho! I am 100 satisfied and 100 thrilled and it wasn't even expensive! If I could give this 10 stars I would

Lighter than most good ponchos. Good tear resistance. Cool and fast drying.

I am 5'6, 220 lbs, and bought this poncho for my own use on rainy day hikes in Georgia, USA. I wanted breathability so I don't overheat. This poncho is perfectly waterproof and very roomy and comfortable. The snap closures allow air flow. My only dislike is that the length is knee length (on me) front and back, meaning that wearing even a small backpack causes the back to ride up too high for me to be able to sit and keep my seat area dry. I still like this poncho so much that I bought a second one to have a spare. Great for hiking on a rainy day trail!

I live in California and the past few weeks have been filled with torrential downpour so I got this out of necessity! But go figure as soon as I did it only rain once the past week or so that I've had it LOL and I gave it four stars because even though it works as intended the thing is massive and very loose fitting with no kind of drawstring or any way of slimming it down which would be nice

What outdoor enthusiast could say anything negative about frog toggs. They are light, so for the weight of a common jacket, you can probably pack up to 5 frog toggs items. Ponchos are breathable. They are not the most waterproof, but with a sil-nylon layer they make a smart light winter emergency wrap, and add enough warmth to be worth taking in the pack when your headed to hunt or fish.

Light weight, inexpensive and compacts well. Most importantly it keeps you dry in an unexpected down pore!

I'm using this for a trip to a rain forest. It's very lightweight and compacts nicely. I haven't used it yet, but design gives a lot of coverage.
