I got this to help keep up with the count during my sons games, since half the time the umps don't know the count!!
Should last for many seasons.

Getting tired of losing count during my son's little league game so I purchased this to help me keep track. Each number snaps in place which I like and seems pretty durable. Have only used it a couple of times so far. Some of the numbers do look like they have some powder (or is it pocket lint?) rubbing off so I'll keep and eye on it and let you guys know if it wears off.

Most comfortable in left hand.

I have been using MacGregor 4 Way Umpire Indicators for as long as I can remember. This is a 3-strike, 4-Ball, 3-out, 9-inning indicator. Because I'm a long time professional umpire, I use this old school indicator because I'm used to it. I umpire about 170 games a year. I bought 2 of every few years. The silver paint fades after a season or two of use, but the mechanical parts on this product will last for ever. The red paint never fades. My oldest MacGregor 4-Way is 12 years old and it still works great... I like these a lot. It's easier to see the red on white numbers when I do night games and the red on white is also fine for day games. I do not like the black on yellow clickers because I can't see the numbers at times during night games.... I have nothing negative to say about this product.....

Very sturdy. Have taken the beating of an entire little league season umpiring multiple times a week. The wheels turn nice and give a solid click so you can track pitch count and number of outs without feeling like you have to look at it every time. Also fits very nicely in the hand.

The quality of this indicator is LIGHT YEARS BETTER than the competitor. If given the choice, go with the MacGregor...I bought 3 different name ones and only use this one.

Pretty basic little gadget here that is a nice convenience to have in the dugout. It's inexpensive and made of plastic, but it sure does the job. What more can you ask for?
