So far a great set of softballs for the younger girls. I have heard that if the adults use cheaper balls like this that they will deform and not work well. We are using them for the Little League type playing. They work incredible awesome. I anticipate them to last a long time.

I've used these balls for a full season of Tball and 8u machine pitch. They are excellent! Good raised stitching for my girls so the ball doesn't slip like the cheaper academy softballs. They also feed great out of a pitching machine bc they are leather balls. I've purchased 3 dozen this year and will buy several more dozen once I see that price go down to $37 again. LOL

Bought 12 of these balls to be able to do batting practice with my daughter. These balls look good and there is good feel on the laces, but they are incredibly hard - really like rocks. It hurts my daughter's hands virtually every time she makes decent contact. For reference, she's 9. I'd spend more and get something better.

Very good deal for leather-wrapped balls. Good raised stitches for pitching practice. Shell has a good feel for it as well compared to the big-box-balls. Individually wrapped. I don't get the impression the shell is too thin as others have mentioned, but my daughter has not beat them up.

As you know, price of softball are costly. But these are worth it! The stitching has a lot of grip and good feel for pitching.

I coach fast pitch softball for high school and used these balls as a cheaper alt for practice. They are great. They last for one season and hold up well from all the abuse.

These softballs are very durable and hold up well over time. It would be great if MacGregor would make them in Blue Stitch, so they conform to USSSA standards.
