THIS WAS AWESOME... WE USED THEM ON A MISSION TRIP WHERE THE KIDS DID NOT HAVE GLOVES AND THE BALL IS SOFT ENOUGH TO CATCH BARE HANDED BUT STILL HITS LIKE A REGULAR SOFTBALL

My husband wanted to replace a 30+ year old softball that his family had used in Chicago. He didn't think they still made them, but they do. This is nice for working with children who are just learning the game.

A 16" softball makes it easier to play with a family reunion. No one needs a glove, especially after the ball softens up. It's easier to hit. The balldoes not fly as far allowing you to use a smaller field.
