Mission: The mission of Mae Organization, Inc. is to operate on a Mind, Body, Spirit model which empowers and compassionately facilitates in the healing of mental illness to our homeless demographic through expressive arts and other holistic modalities. Mae wishes to support and empower our homeless clients to become self-sufficient and get off homelessness, not enablers of street living

Results: We have helped over 10 families transition to apartment living, by furnishing their entire living space, thus, turning it into a home. We cook a hot meal to welcome them. We have helped thousands of individuals with hot meals, clothing and toiletries. We have distributed tents, and bikes. We have Assisted individuals get off homelessness and stay living independently through a familial like support system unlike what is available to them outside of our organization. We provide counseling and mentoring on sustainability and opioid addictions.

Target demographics: Homeless children, moms, adults. We facilitate in the healing of mental illness and opioid addictions. We want to to see change in homelessness by helping each individual become productive members of society. We believe no one wished to be homeless and that everyone has a gift to share.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year, we helped over 300 individuals every month directly with hot meals, transitioning into apartment living, clothing, and expressive arts programs. We also took homeless veterans to the nutrcracker; a once in a lifetime experience they said, they will never gorget.

Geographic areas served: We serve the homeless and impoverished population throughout all of Rhode Island. We are facilitators in the healing of mental health and opioid addiction among the chronically homeless, by providing holistic healing programs to help heal the whole person, mind, body, spirit. We give a hand up, not a hand out.

Programs: We provide holistic therapeutic programs such as, but not limited to: Expressive arts healing modalities, holistic counseling, equine therapy, therapy through agriculture, Cooking skills, transition into housing by providing furnished apartments. Hot meals,
