I have a recipe for a cheese soup that called for frying shallots. I was being lazy and didn't want to take the extra step of frying the shallots myself, so I looked online to see if I could find some already fried and found these. These are absolutely delicious! They are perfect in the soup I made -- I can't really see the homemade fried shallots being any better. (I did try some of the French's fried onions because I had to wait a day for these shallots, and they were okay but not as good as these.) I will definitely buy again!

I used to have to slice shallots and fry them to spread and enhance my curries and biryanis but now with these ready-to-eat fried shallots, I just add them to my prepared dishes.

I really love this brand of fried shallots- clean ingredients and authentic taste. I have bought them a few times already and will continue to buy again. This brand also has fried garlic which is also super yummy.

Fresh shallots is not cheap. The Maesri came in a large jar and I used it for the first time on scrambled eggs.It was delicious but I think I used too much. It is flavorful and a little bit goes a long way. I am sure I will find other uses for fried shallots.

I intended to use this on a salad. Absolutely no taste. Texture of plastic. Threw it out. Kept the salad.

I used to work at a sushi restaurant and these were my fave to put in rice bowls and on top of my sushi rolls. I'm so glad that I can recreate my fave dishes at home. 10/10 product!

Bought these to make a goat cheese salad I always get at The Bay in South Walton, FL when we go to the beach. With COVID ruining our travels plans this summer, I decided to try and make it myself but the fried shallots were going to be the trick part. These did the trick and were simply delicious!
