Already a fan of MagLites, I bought two of these, one each for my wife and I to keep in our backpacks for when we are travelling, in case of emergencies. They take up very little room, weigh almost nothing and yet they are very robust, including an LED light source. Very handy to have!

This well-made, rugged little flashlight is tiny - only about 5 long, no bigger around than my pinky finger, and takes a pair of little AAA batteries. But it cranks out an incredible amount of light. I often take a walk at night, and the only real danger is accidentally bumping into a black bear. Placid beasties, but they hate surprises. I can pull this little wonder out of my pocket and quickly take a look a good 100 yds up the road.

If you want a flash light with a VERY bright light then this is the flash light you want to get. My husband loves this flash light. When it arrived and he turned it on I didn't think he'd keep it. He said it was too bright, BUT changed his mind very quickly. He uses it daily for different things now.

I bought this flashlight to replace an older one which is still good but I am unable to replace the leaked batteries.No flimsy construction just good solid quality

This one is smaller than the previous one I had but works fine. Excellent for lighting up spaces that are difficult to get to and see.

Super quality, can last for generations. And USA made but the clip keeps falling off. It doesn't work for front pocket carry.

Been using Maglites for years, needed a smaller one for tool bag, this one is almost to bright, which i guess is a good problem to have.

We are on a ranch. With six of these on hand, I use rechargeable batteries and always have one of these flashlights in my shirt pocket. The light burns about 1/2 hour with rechargeables that are 1.25 V not 1.5 V.Great flashlight.

I have both versions (led and incandescent) and as advertised, this is brighter with a longer lasting battery. In some cases it might actually be too bright! I've dropped this several times from about 1 meter on concrete, tile, etc and it still works great.If you want a super bright light in a pocket size then this is it. If you want a not so bright light but same thing, get the incandescent version and if that is still too bright, get the single aaa incandescent version (great for reading in a dark car without disturbing driver). This model however, would be far to bright to turn on inside a moving car at night.Update: My incandescent version ran out of batteries recently and was pitching the batteries then thought, hmmm wonder if there's enough juice left to power it's led version and wow. I'm running the led for about an hour now on batteries that were “dead” and incapable of powering the older incandescent model. That's impressive.

I needed a compact bright flashlight. This is perfect. You can't focus the light like the old school full size Mag Lights, but it's more than bright enough for what I need it for.

We've always had a bunch of these flashlights in various drawers around the house, and always in the car, for about as long as I can remember. Great little lights -- good quality for the money, and reliable.
