I wanted a heavy duty metal flashlight and this fit the bill! You can use this flashlight as a weapon if you need to knock someone out! LOL!! It's large, bright in charge! Love it.

Dull Light. 27 Limens is half the brightness of your phone's flashlight. Seriously, I'm shocked at how bad this flashlight is. Also, I bought 4 flashlights and 1 didn't even work. Bad quality control, it's probably a knockoff and not a real Maglight.

Lost my old standby2D MagLite (30 yrs old and still perfect) so I scooped this one up because I can't imagine life without a MagLite. There's smaller, and there's brighter, but there's none better. They've changed the bulb to keep up with the times, but everything else is just where it belongs. If they don't have a MagLite hanging in the Smithsonian yet, somebody's dropped the ball.

We keep them under the bed. I have had mine for over 5 years, and got tired of my wife taking it. She loves the purple color, and I like knowing where mine is. We use is for camping, power outages, and anytime we need a quick light. Not for small spaces, but easy to direct a bright beam of light.

Good old classic Maglite 2D, good quality. With new Xenon bulb wich is very nice but I like to use upgrade led-bulb, with that this classic Maglite is awesome, old fashioned quality machined alumimum with super bright light and batterys last longer.
