Bought this as a gift for family member. Only used a few days, but so far I hear good things about its performance. Makes nice Ice "rolles" fairly fast. Reliability is a subject can't address now. Will revisit in 6 months.

We bought the Magic Chef counter top ice maker for our daughter as a house warming present over three years ago. Was easy to assemble and it produces ice quickly. It is smaller ice cubes and they melt more quickly, so would recommend transferring some to the freezer especially if you are having a party. It is better to use filtered or spring water and you need to clean the water reservoir at least monthly. Very quiet and fits nice on the counter.

It is so simple and easy to use and it generates ice with no effort other than pouring in water. I have had it running for days now and have accumulated pounds of ice. It surprises me how quickly it generates the ice. Since ice has jumped up to over $2.00 per 5 pounds this little machine will save me a lot of money!

We bought this several years ago for use with our RV amp; it is still going strong! We spend a month or longer in one spot amp; one of the first things we do is set this up to start making ice. It always surprises us how fast it spurs ice out. Once it’s full, I start filling a freezer bag to store. We’ll use ice out of it during the day for drinks, when we notice it needs water, we refill, and at night we turn it off. We’ve had this unit for years and it keeps us from buying bags of ice. No problem. I’d highly recommend for RVers.

This produce was great while it worked. After 2 years it started leaking water while making ice. I wish it didn’t break because it was nice to have ice when needed

This ice machine is my first. It has been great and it makes ice quickly in 2 sizes. I've had it, I guess almost 2 years. It is pretty noisy and took some getting use to. It works sometimes stop me in my tracks. At times Ican hear it dropping I've from my bedroom. I've used faucet water, spring water and also water from my refillable jugs. As of late, I look in and see black particles floating in the water. But what has made me retire this machine is the water deposit build up it seems to get worst the longer I keep it. I decided to retire it and get a self cleaning ice maker.

Arrives stinking and greasy from machine oil. Clean it and find out how cheaply made it is. Then plug it in and find out how badly formed the ice is ... how soft and fragile. Keep a good freezer nearby to the keep the ice from quickly melting. Better yet, save your money, buy some cheap silicon ice trays and put them in your freezer.

I love the machine it worked well for maybe a couple years and then all of a sudden the red light went on and said that the machine was full of ice and it was no ice in and it wouldn't make ice no matter what I did and so I went on on YouTube and one customer said to hold the start button down for 10 minutes I mean 10 seconds and it will it will make ice but the red light won't go out and and but it'll still make ice and then what it fills up it will shut off And I did that and it works fine and you just got to you make a batch of ice and and then you take it out and put it in the free you know dump it in the freezer and then you start all over again you know but you got to hold to start button down for 10 seconds and
