My spill over spa was leaking water back into the pool overnight. The Jandy check valve was no longer working as it should. I installed this valve and it is now back working - keeping the spa water level overnight. This unit looks well made and the directions were perfect. Time will tell how it holds up but initially I am very happy so far.

Easy to install and a perfect fit. Spa still leaks down to pool level over night. PROBABLY a valve leaking air somewhere else. Valves are all over 10 years old and I can hear some of them leaking in certain positions.

my spa was water level would drop as soon as the main pumps would stop. the spa water would empty back into the main pool. this new back flow valve fixed the problem. now i hope this valve will last. my previous valve flap replacement only lasted 2 yrs.

Sounds like the people having trouble... forgot to put silicone on the gasket (O-Ring) or maybe they are shills ?. But here is a tip: Tighten your check valve screws in a star pattern (like you would if you were installing a car tire, google it) when you install the new check valve. Do not just go around the screw pattern in a clockwise (or counter) pattern. This check valve is a lot cheaper than other name brand OEM check valves....maybe they are worried (as they should be). Great Product, Great Value.
