Sounds like the people having trouble... forgot to put silicone on the gasket (O-Ring) or maybe they are shills ?. But here is a tip: Tighten your check valve screws in a star pattern (like you would if you were installing a car tire, google it) when you install the new check valve. Do not just go around the screw pattern in a clockwise (or counter) pattern. This check valve is a lot cheaper than other name brand OEM check valves....maybe they are worried (as they should be).
