Perfect in every way.Instructions...Take the old one off.Put the new one on.It really is that simple. I did go ahead and coat the Oring with some lube, just because I always do.

Received and installed both within 15 minutes - These are the same brand ( i scanned the barcode) that are sold in many pool stores for $50 each. So far so good - spa water not draining back into pool. Fixed issue for almost half the cost as purchase from pool store and 30 compared to oem equipment.

I order this check valve to replace the one the original one. The installation was easy. I put a light coating of Magic Lube on the O ring and on the flap. Before installing I clean the inside of the body specially where the flap will be sitting. Let's hope the spring will last, the OEM only lasted 2 years.

Great option to fix an original jandy check valve that no longer is keeping water in the raised pool spa when pump is off. With this replacement, It is simple to keep the original valve housing attached to the pvc pipes while just removing the 8 screws and installing in kind. I also made sure to lube the new flapper rubber seal and plastic face o-ring.Took 15 minutes and showed immediate fix!

My inground pool has an integrated spillover spa and after pump shutdown, some of the spa water was draining back into the pool overnight. The problem is this valve on the spa return side was not sealing correctly--a fairly common issue but why pay the pool tech $$$ to fix when you can do this yourself in mins and save the $$? installs easily and all you need is phillips and small flat blade screwdrivers and some pool silicone to Grease the rubber gaskets. SIMPLE!

Fixed my problem. Easy to install. After turning off my pump, water level in my jacuzz would drop by 5-6 inches overnight. Replaced this valve and problem is resolved. Easy removal and install. Just need a philips head screwdriver. Unscrew the old one, pull it out and replace with new one. I used a star pattern to install. 8 screws total.
