These work great, they take all of the work out of the bleeding of a hot water furnace. They work great on any radiator, including the short ones along the base board..

Let's say I used this in an unusual way to fix an unusual problem.Somehow I am getting air in my coolant in my Chevy Venture, after an intake manifold change.I know, head gasket, right? Problem is, this works. I have no water/oil mix, runs like a top, if it is it is working. (I am leaning towards a loose coolant hose under the throttle body).

The product seems to work well, but the packaging needs help. The little metal tab that sticks out of the bottom is unprotected and one of units had a bent tab. Just put a protective sleeve around the threads and tab.

Drained down system, installed 2 of these and opened the water valves. Air came out and no water. Good stuff.
