Used this cord to repair an old Makita 7 inch sander. This is an excellent cord that fit perfectly and it's quite heavy duty. I expect to get a long life out of discord due to its thickness. Excellent product.

Although a little pricy the SJ cord is so much better than stiff pvc cords. Includes strain relief also.

Good product. Had to eliminate the male fastener on the white common wire as my old Makita polisher didn't have a female fitting. But, heck no problem.

I was able to replace my old damaged power cord with the one I purchased, but it was not entirely straightforward. The wires were not colored the same as on my Makita circular saw and there was a green ground wire that I didn't need and which I just cut off. Some liquid soap made it possible to force the rubber anchor through the hole in the saw handle. Also had to cut off a connector on a wire and strip back the insulation to insert the bare wire into a plastic junction.

My Mikita Jack Hammer cord was thrashed from loaning it out, and the users not paying attention and hammering it, Just a minor connector modification. The adapter's did not want work, so i simply replaced them. I works like a charm, and the cord is plenty long. And the price was lower than the Commercial Contractor Stores. Top Score for this buy 5!!

It's a universal configuration You must adapt it to your specific Makita tool. In my case, an older miter saw. Quality cord, with ground which was not needed for my power tool.

Very easy to change out and the right size.. We all know.. if you use your saw everyday the cable will soon get cut
