This stuff has saved me time and time again. I do quarantine fish but still every so often Ich finds its way in. Yes, you need to take out snails and filter chemical absorbers and carbon but it has worked flawless every time for whole tank treatment. It doesnt stain the silicone nor my white decorations and has never affected my live plants. I do recommend getting a copper test kit to check levels during treatment. I use a copper filter absorber at end of treatment with water changes to remove it. I keep this on hand because the quicker the better to treat Ich.

Used this after using kordon rapid cure, just to make sure the tank was treated, since the label said this medication lasted longer and didn't require water change. I did not change any water after the rapid cure, just added this in and my fish did fine! They seemed better after Kordons treatment, but I only used that first since it was the only thing available local to me late at night. I would use copper safe again, as it seems like it would be the smarter option that doesn't dye your tank ornaments and is stable in the water for up to a month. 3 days often isn't adequate to treat the full ich cycle.

I had 2 fish with ick got this and QT them immediately my misbar clownfish survive but the royal gramma didn't it had it for longer and I didn't notice it but this product works pretty well just have to catch the parasite early.

I've just used coppersafe in combination with a warmer tank (82f), aquarium salt, and Hikari betta revive. After a few days my betta was alert, curious, and regained a healthy appetite! I've phased out the betta revive (methlyne blue and malachite green) and lowered the tank temp to 78f. Now it's a slow phase out of the aquarium salt and coppersafe for the next couple weeks until the water is clear again. Be sure to remove any plants during treatment in case copper affects them.
