You can't read the temperature straight on. Have to change it so it is at 45 degree angle to read.

To my suprise it was better than i thought. Very small and compact which is great for my two one gallon aquariums. It doesnt fall over! Will stand straight up. The readings are very small and pretty hard to read specially for me who wears glasses. That's my only complaint. As for the accuracy I couldnt ne 100 on that but I believe they are close enough to on point.

Affordable and easy to use item. Came exactly as described. Fits perfectly in my tank, easy to see and easy to clean. No suction cup, so I can stand it anywhere in the tank gravel. Would absolutely purchase again for another tank.

The sinking ones seem to be much more durable than the other models, alot more accurate too. They are my favorite. Great for the price. I put these in my hang on back filters and I can take them out with ease to check the temperature, also so they aren't an eyesore.

I have an old hanging one from Marina that was turning orange (after 4 years), so I decided to buy a new one. Only this one was available. Works as expected.

Is this product perfect? No. It does not come with a suction cup, so your pet can push it around; however, do I see a need to spend $2 more for a suction cup? No. Is it easy to read? No, but it is a old school thermometer. If you want the glance and go then spend the $6 plus dollars.

I did nothing get a suction cup with this thermometer. It does not float, but it does stand up at the bottom of the tank. Since there is no way for me to attach the thermometer to a wall, I just don't even use it. It's too much trouble to find something to use to fish the thing out of the water so I can read it.

Perfect for any tank, just put in in a corner for easy reading. I was so tired from thermometers both with suction cups and the tape-ons. This little guy is perfect for my shrimp tank.I included a pic, and even though it's not the best clarity since it was mirroring the room you can read the thermometer.
