It works well and I like that I can plug it in but it is pretty quiet. I really expected it to be louder given its reputation. I have never found the perfect sound machine.

When I ordered this, I thought there was going to be more settings than just fan, but that was my bad for not reading. The fan sound is ok but it wasn't loud enough in my opinion.

I use this in my room for my 6 month old baby. This product was recommended by a family member whose practically swears by it. I do find that my baby is able to go to sleep faster and stay asleep longer but I don't think it takes away from any noise. I have read from other customers' reviews who say that they use it because their spouses snore. This did not work for me as my husband does snore and I have to kick out of bed; it's sad but true! I don't think that this product is worth the $50 as it's just a big piece of plastic that makes noise. I would not recommend this to anyone and won't buy this again when mine finally takes a dump!

It work for 5 moths ,7hrs on for 7 days . I really like it , but it die on me man.

Works well until it develops bearing trouble and begins to buzz or have a background high pitched whir sound. Lasted about six months before it began to intermittently produce these symptoms. However this was longer than my first one which did so after a month. I have had it a year now and really should return it to the company, but I haven't had time to deal with it. Such a hassle.

Bought this in August and was really enjoying it until the low setting completely stopped working last week. It's not a cheap product so I expected it to last a little longer than 8 months.

This is basically just a fan. You can adjust it to change the sound up a little, but it doesn't get very loud. I will say it's pretty soothing. Some of the digital ones can get harsh. But my personal preference is for a harsher white noise machine that drowns out the neighbors rather than a soothing one that doesn't.

Found about this at a hotel that had it and went back immediately and bought one. Was incredible until 5 months in it started rattling on the low speed setting. Not sure how to deal with customer service to get it fixed or replaced

It is a little too loud, but it does help you fall asleep. I place it my closet to reduce the nose, but it works.

Thought it would sound more like a fan. Sounds more like a heater and so as a result i start to feel hot just listening to it

I was looking at this sound machine for months after hearing about it on Tim Ferris podcast. We never had issues with our sleep and our apartment is pretty quiet, but with the pregnancy involved and a baby on the way, I was very excited to consider buying a real sound machine for the nursery vs baby shushers (especially since none of them had even relatively close high ratings). The machine looks cute and neat, it is not too big to keep it on your bedside table, but, oh boy, it is loud!! we set it up on the quietest setting, however, even keeping it on the dresser in a faraway corner of a bedroom made sleeping just impossible. It is louder than Air Conditioner, and even than my hairdryer!! We gave it few nights, trying to adjust, or expecting a miracle.. - those were the most exhausting sleepless nights in our household, so, unfortunately, we had to return it. Perhaps, to each their own, sadly, this product wasn't for us.
