haven't used it for traveling but it's seems to heavy to pack in suitcase.

We really like this product. There was a bit of a weird odor upon opening and running for the first time but we ran it in the basement for a while and the odor went away. This unit has improved the quality of our sleep! Like that there is a high or low sound setting. Easy to use.

Went back to this after a supposedly random digital white noise machine. Simple fan design but with enough adjustment to make it versatile. I just got it but it seems to be well built. Recommend!

My wife and I have been using these for so long that we cannot live without them. We have one in the bedroom, one in the office for studying, and we keep one at our frequently traveled locations (family's house, vacation house, etc). They make it so you can have tolerable sleep even around a very loud family. If you combine them with ear plugs, I'm pretty sure you can sleep through a train wreck.The only drawback is they are a little smaller than the size of a duck tape roll (circumference) and slightly heavy due to their use of an actual moving fan to generate the noise. However, they produce a much higher quality sound than the electronic noise machines. So, the weight/size is worth the tradeoff of better sound and higher quality sleep in my opinion.They do make a smaller, electronic version they market toward infant/toddlers that produces very similar quality noise and it is much smaller. I wouldn't use it for every day use at home, but it does come in handy for travel.

I cannot sleep in complete silence or too much noise, this is the right fit for me. It helps me sleep better for sure. I am glad I bought it.

Great white noise background sound. Does a great job of keeping unwanted noise out. We absolutely love having it on when sleeping. Only complaint is that it quit working after 8 months.

Bought this after staying at an AirBnB that had one. We used Sleep Sounds with Alexa, but sound quality was never consistent and sometimes it'd just stop working in the middle of the night. Seems like this is just loud enough to block out any noise without being obnoxious.

Living near two major hospitals in Atlanta, I' was really hoping this would work not to be awakened at all times of the night and me not knowing why. I'm no longer waking up, so it must be working! I'm very happy to get some sleep for a change over the past dreadful year long pandemic!

Works well

Before using this, I used to sleep for 8-9 hours a still be tired. Now I only sleep for 6 hours and feel refreshed. It is absolutely amazing how much this has helped me--literally overnight.I have read that a lot of times you wake up in the middle of the night, but you don't remember it. I suppose that sounds can wake you up, and you don't realize that you were up.I have noticed an extremely big difference, which has helped me a lot at school. I only wish I had tried this earlier.

This is all you need in a white noise machine. Press the button and you are good to go. Love it

We have a Dohm sound machine in all the bedrooms in the house. It only plays white noise and that is exactly what we wanted. We honestly can't sleep without one!

I live in a huge PUD with the homes very close together so this allows me to sleep at night.

I've had one of these for probably at least 12 years and it's still going strong. I can't sleep without it and always take it with me when I travel. I visit my grandchildren in another state frequency and it finally dawned on me this last visit that I should leave it there and buy another one for home so I don't have to keep hauling it back and forth, so that's what I did. It didn't arrive until the day after I returned from my trip, so I used a white noise app on my phone and that was less than satisfactory. I was worried the new one would sound different, but it's perfect! This brand is wonderful and this white noise machine is a life/sleep saver. I bought the black one this time because it was less expensive, but honestly, I don't even notice it. It just kind of blends in. I highly recommend this item.
