The first one I received was malfunctioning. It only had a very loud setting. The company replaced it and the replacement is working perfectly. We prefer the sound of Marsona over other white noise machines and have used their products for 30 years!

I received this as a gift over 15 years ago and has been on almost every single night since then and its still working perfectly ! I only use the white noise while sleeping but the other nature sounds are fun background now and then during the day. Now and then I can hear the recordingsplice in the white noise ( sounds like a dog barking in distance ) and my ear fixates on it but with tone and volume adjustment I can usually decrease it. Reliable device.

Has a wide range of sounds. This is the second one I have bought from Marsona. The previous one held up for about 15-20 years. A little on the expensive side.

Had earlier version and used every day for over 20 years so when it quit I wanted this one. Am very pleased.

I bought this model because of its' high volume and tone control. I have six of them to block out barking dogs in my neighborhood. It has been a life saver for me!

I have bought several of these white-noise machines over the years, for different residences and family members. This one gives a choice of sounds and volumes and always works fine. I highly recommend it, even if it is more expensive than some other options.

I bought this machine to help my husband sleep. He likes that it is very versatile so he can program it as he prefers. He said it definitely helps him sleep better.

I have an earlier version of this sound machine. Looks almost identical, but is a dark brown. Other then its lacking thunderstorm and white noise, I think identical or very similar. That being said, I purchased this machine in the arly 1990s if memory serves me. Its wonderful and still working perfectly, with almost daily use. I bought it back then as I found once fall arrived and the air condioner was no longer used, I couldnt fall asleep. This solved the problem. Since I also meditate, I began using it during my meditation time too and found it helpful and relaxing. When I bought it, I did so through a mail order catalog and paid $169.99 plus sh so the price here is much lower. If mine stopped working, I would not hesitate to purchase a replacement. This is a wonderful and dependable sound machine with very realistic sound quality, even the sound quality of mine with older technology sounds realistic. The only sounds missing on mine seem to be white noise and thunderstorm I also have a white noise machine, which I use (Marpac Dohm-DS sound machine) for sleep and when I'm away from home to help me fall asleep. Although if I use my Marsona sound machine, I also fall asleep easily. The Marpac is a white noise machine with only one sound, but its amazing how it masks outside noise. The Marpac has a small internal fan with two speeds, which can be adjusted to sound like a fan or AC to your liking to help fall asleep or mask other sounds. This is another sound machine I woud replace if necessary without hesitation. My Marpac is now 4 to 5 years old and still working perfectly with daiy use. I would and have recomended these to friends who have bought them and are highly satisfied.

Love it, sleeping better

The first one I had lasted 7 years before it started making weird sounds. The second one I had lasted 2 years before it started making weird sounds. This third one had the weird sounds right out of the box. It is really a shame. This is a very good machine with long loops and a variety of options. I just wish it didn't create these jarring noises randomly while it is running. UPDATE: The company very kindly contacted me and suggested that it might be making the sounds because of interference from another device nearby. I moved this away from my CPAP, and voila, no more weird noises. Thank you.

This was a replacement for a prior Marsona sound conditioner we purchased in 1998. Very pleased with the product. The old one still works but the plastic has turned yellow from sunlight damage. We can't go to sleep without it - even purchased a travel sound conditioner. Highly recommend. Absolutely no problem for over 18 years.

The surf with gulls and the lake with loon take me back to some of my fondest memories, I go into visuals, then sound asleep! Really relaxing.
