I was interested in picking up a Boss VE-8, and was convinced by all the reviews, except that a major complaint was that it took two foot taps to turn off a loop. I also noticed that this is easily remedied by adding an external footswitch. But who wants to spend another $50 to $100 when you just spent $350 or more? Anywhoo, I poked around some more and found this switch, as well as instructions for adding it to the unit, which I will cut and paste here. Apologies to the original author. I lost track of where I got this info. Suffice it to say, it's well worth the added $17 to fix one of the very few drawbacks with the VE-8, which is still the best option of its kind despite being introduced in 2016.To programme the foot switch you have to hold down the harmony foot switch and memory button simultaneously; when you do this code C1“ is displayed on the display briefly and then a number. Now...C1 refers to the B switch on the FS6 pedal, you need to set it to number 4 (loop source). Then press memory again and C2 will be displayed briefly and then a number; set this to 3 (stop playback and hold to erase loop). Then press exit and it is now assigned like in the video! No, this is not logical as you would think that C1 would be A and C2 would be B, seems like some tech who hasn't seen sunlight for 13 years and with no common sense designed it. Anyway hope that helps.

The design and footprint of this switch is a big step above the average!Unfortunately, I had to send it back because I have a need for a normally-closed switch and this (like most of the rest of the world) is normally-open.

Works perfectly to give my Synethesia mod pedal extra buttons to change presets on the fly. I am able to convert one of the built in buttons to be tap tempo and the second the on/off. This config makes the pedal infinitely more giggable. Worth the money!

Buy it for your Stomp HX, you need it!!!

I paid $16 for this thing, and I love it! It's way cheaper than the BOSS FS6 and FS7, and it works great with my BOSS RC-5 and BOSS GT-100. Recommended!

the switches are very high quality and the whole case is aluminum and looks classy. You wont find a better 2 switch for the money or for probably twice the money.

I needed a little footswitch for my HXStomp to cycle between presets. The material is super solid, super compact, takes little setup (depending on what you're using it for), and works flawlessly. I mean for the money you really can't beat it. It was going to cost just as much to build my own and it would've been bigger. Really impressed with it.

Build quality, great! Functionality for my Trace-Elliot AH200 GP12 Series 6 head with switchable EQ and pre-shape buttons is perfect. The package even comes with velcro and a TRS cable.HOWEVER, the TRS cable is nearly useless as it won't even reach the floor from my bass amp. Yes, the description shows 80cm ( 31), but other than testing that it works, the cable is useless.Looks like I need to order a longer cable.

If you have the bugera t50 infinium, this thing is just right. Controls the channel and reverb on/off. It works with any amp that uses momentary channel switches.

I ordered this to expand the footswitches on my HX Stomp XL. The first one I ordered came in defective as it registered multiple stomps. I contacted the seller and they offered to send me a second one. They did and I haven't had issues with the replacement pedal since. It is working as intended.

Works perfect with the Stomp. It's metal, but bent sheet metal construction, so it is pretty light, but works really well. It comes with adhesive to stick it down, which I think I'll eventually have to do when I make it a permanent part of my pedalboard, but it works fine just sitting on the carpet right now. It does move around a bit being so light, but I can always find it, and it always works. Switches themselves are decent quality momentary switches, but lack the heavy thunk of a really expensive unit, but still feel nicer than I expected on such a cheap piece of gear.As a bonus, it comes with a cable that most people charge almost as much as this whole pedal for. Easily the best value for adding two more switches to the Stomp, making it much more versatile.
