Target demographics: at-risk horses and at-risk horse owners

Direct beneficiaries per year: Provide tons of hay and feed to needy horses, provided critical veterinary care, and launched an event to provide veterinary support, microchip, train and place over 30 horses seized from a neglect situation.

Geographic areas served: Maryland, USA

Programs: Short-term support for horses at risk due to an owner's temporary crisis - such as job loss or illness. Assistance includes hay, feed and necessary veterinary care, advice and assistance with locating additional resources and/or placement for horses. Our goal is to educate, collaborate and keep horses safe, healthy and out of the "slaughter pipeline"
