Mission: The Mass Music & Arts Society (MMAS) provides a cultural home for artists, audiences, and aspiring performers of all ages. At our core is a rich schedule of theater productions, performing-arts education, art exhibits and live entertainment. The synergy of these offering honors individual artistic interests through diverse creative opportunities in southeastern Massachusetts. MMAS host art exhibits for established and emerging artists through the Morini Art Gallery. MMAS is the home of the Black Box Theater that has a season of eight and ten theatrical productions staged every season, offering local playwrights the chance to have their works performed, and giving area actors, dancers and singers the ability to exercise their talents on our stages. By offering fine and performing arts education to regional children, teens, adults and seniors, MMAS reaches across generational lines to provide a safe environment in which all may explore their talents.

Results: MMAS purchased a 3-acre site in Mansfield across from the Xfinity Center. There the society operates new and growing academy for performing arts. The organization is raising funds to build a new state-of-the-arts facility, with several additional performing and educational spaces to support their programs.
