Well I had an opportunity to use this tool in a probably unintended but very effective way. I put it over a 3/4 inch Bolt in the center of a large pin and used it to drive the pin out without damaging either the threads or the pain itself it worked incredibly well a true life saver!

Worked like a charm to remove Brake Bleeders on a 16 year old car in the Rust Belt where the bleeders had NEVER been touched!
Was able to flush out the old fluid. Without this I would have had to replace all four calipers!

Prblly a good 50 set screws in and still in good shape. I use this almost explusivly for removing set screws on brake rotors. Perfect to get the impact on the screw and crack it loose in the same motion with a 19mm wrench on the tool. Hasn't let me down yet. Worth the money.

I used it on a large phillips head screw that holds the tailgate onto my 1970 International Scout. I beat on that bolt with an impact driver for two days with every penetrating spray you can think of. I was going to weld a bolt to it but figured that I would give this a try. It worked like a charm and I could not be happier. Every north east old car guy (or girl) should have one of them in the tool box.

WOW!!! This product works!! I replace the stock hinges on my 2012 Jeep JKU about 3 years ago. The hinges had become rusty, so I wanted to remove them to strip and paint them correctly. The stock tapered allen-head bolts would not budge! I tried liquid wrench, heat, impact wrench, and a hammer. Finally resorted to drilling & EZ-out both hinges on one door. Then had to completely disassembly the door to remove the inner bolt plates to remove the rest of the bolts. One of my employees told me about this tool, we watched a couple of youtube videos and I decided to give it a try. Soaked each bolt with liquid wrench, let them sit for a half hour, then went to town. Took a minute or so on each to finally "break" them loose, but this tool finally did the trick. Amazing!!

This is the greatest tool ever! I used to to remove a broken intake manifold bolt (after welding a nut to the exposed threads). Applied a little Kroil to the bottom of the threads and put this tool to work. I started hammering and putting pressure on the wrench. It wasn't moving... then, after about 20-30 seconds of hammering & smooth gentle pressure - the busted bolt started to back out!

I also used this to remove a sheared bolt in an engine accessory bracket. This bold was stuck in there good! I broke a standard EZ Out off in the first hole I drilled. Luckily, the bracket was out of the car and easy to maneuver, so I just drilled from the back side so I could punch the hardened steel EZ out from the hole. I switched to a "Super Out" (Lisle 62900 Extractor Set). People commented that these should round the hole before they snap... so I thought I would give it a try. With the super out in place... I hooked up the Shake n' Break with the appropriate adapters, a little penetrating oil, started hammering with this, and applied smooth (and relatively light) pressure with a wrench. After about 45 seconds... the broken stud started backing out!

I was about to give up - and read some of the review on this tool and thought I would give it a try. I was hoping it would work for me like it worked for others... I'm glad I did!

As others have mentioned, it is somewhat inconvenient that it does not have retaining mechanism. I used a few wraps of electrical tape to hold whatever was connected to the 1/2 drive portion of the tool on. It got the job done!

I would also recommend getting the 1/2 versions - and use impact adapters if you need to get to smaller sizes.

I used this on torx bolts on my jeep doors that were loc-tited and painted in place for 20 years. I had tried a hammer screwgun, an impact driver, penetrating oil...basically everything except flame...for hours with no success. I unwrapped this, and 20 minutes later, all 6 bolts were loose with none broken!
It took longer than a few seconds like you see in the videos, but it worked great. The key is that you get the aggressive hammer action to break loose the fastener, but you can just apply sufficient hand-strength to rotate the fastener without breaking it.
My friends are buying them, and we're getting them for mechanics at work, too.
