I???m not good with detentions i guess. I???ve never seen suck a wide punch. Wow. Well made and all if you need a brass punch the size of a small hotdog, but I bought it to drift out a 10/22 front sight and ended up spending way more time on it than I needed to. If I could have localized the pressure, it would have come right out. I ended up putting an ice pack on it to shrink the metal and it finally came out. It was fine for putting the new fiber optic sight in. Still, brass marks on more places than needed, but hey, they come off. That???s the idea, right? Anyway, well made punch. Not what I was looking for.

Nice quality but mars easily. I guess that???s the point of a brass punch but i got little shards of brass everywhere.

A nicely machined hunk of brass and a lifesaver. When I need to apply precise force to a part I'm worried about messing up, this has done the trick. I first used it to tap a big bearing back square as I slowly worked a tight-fitting case off a differential. It's the right tool for certain jobs, and this was one of them. I'm sure it won't be the last.

Used to install a Trijicon night sight on a Glock. It worked and while it didn't damage the sight, it wore off the white writing. Not a big deal but be careful if you do it too. If I wasn't so cheap I'd get a proper sight pusher but, this works until then

This is exactly as described and is of a high quality. The size is very good and is exactly what I was looking for for using as a punch to help me when I repack bearings on my trailers. Much better than anything I could find locally.
