Extremely heavy duty and large! I would highly recommend this when doing automotive work and repair. There are times where the smaller 2' pry bars can't get the job done. I used this 4' pry bar to help dismantle a parts car. I own many other Mayhew pry bars and all love them because they have a striking cap at the end.

This is an excellent pry bar. I paid over $200 for other bars. Just had it stolen. Maybe I should order another one with my name engraved on it. Just wish it was about two inches shorter. Thank You.

put as much force as i can on this to move stuff, it bends during use, but always returns to dead straight when force is removed. will be buying more of their products.

As a 23 yr mechanic I agree this prybar is just as good as the big 3 brands. It will take on anything you pry against, and win. The handle is sized for one hand. I don't have a problem using my 2nd hand on the bar itself when needed. For the money you cant beat it.

Used this pry bar yesterday for the first time. Rotating the tires on a MINI Cooper and the wheels were stuck to the hubs. Anyone that has ever tried to rotate their tires on a MINI is well aware of what I'm talking about as this is a very common problem due to 2 different metals causing corrosion. Long story short, I pulled out my Mayhew 60144 12-C Dominator Pry Bar, wedged it in each of the four notches between the wheel and hub, working/prying in each notch and in less than 30 seconds the wheel was off with no damage done to wheel, hub, or pry bar. Did this to the other 3 wheels with the same results. I was cranking pretty hard on the pry bar and witnessed very little flex if any. I'm very happy with this product and would not hesitate to purchase Mayhew Pry Bars in the future.

Im more productive with this straight edge striking pry bar....I use this to separate engines from transmissions drive axles...

I bent my discount store bar while working on a spindle nut so I thought it was time to buy something a little higher quality and ended up with this. What turned my 3034; HF bar into a pretzel didn't bother this Dominator at all. The square shaft is very thick and the handle seems to be very well made as well. I think this will be up to any task I can trough at it.

I have been using a lower quality long pry bar for a while. It would loose its integrity under a hard load. Two days after getting my Mayhew, it got put to the test and performed flawlessly. The other techs will be purchasing one of there own after using mine. It's worth every penny.

Big ass pry bar... Havn't really put it through its paces yet, but I'm sure it will do ok. Not the flat machined finish you get from Snapon/mac/Matco but its probably 1/2 the price. This one has what I would call a 34;hot rolled34; finish(minus the tip). I also got it on sale so it was even cheaper. It's 4 feet long, 134; square bar. -1 star for the tip not being nearly as hard as it should be- the very tip has a small angle cut on it that I used to pry something tiny up with and the small bolt I was prying up smashed the heck out of the end. I feel like it should be a bit harder than it is especially when they say on their website you can pound on the end with a hammer... But it is for big leverage situations so if im using I'm sure I'll be trying to use more than 34;just the tip.34;
