Purchased this just to make cookies with back in September. It absolutely did the job. I used it to replace granulated sugar. But why is it suddenly up by over $5.00? Please - don't start with the everything is higher. I'm tired of what I perceive as companies just jumping on the bandwagon. Instead of a five, I'm rating it at three stars because I don't see where it's suddenly more valuable by 20 in just under 4 months. Granulated sugar may be higher on the glycemic index, but you have to balance that with the cost.

Unfortunately the bottle went bad a couple weeks in. Mold came out, and spoiled our stack of pancakes. For this price, very upsetting. The flavor is good. Expectation was 07/2024. And half a bottle is still in it.

The the flavor was weak and the unique and basic taste of maple that I'm familiar with regarding pure maple syrup wasn't there.

Just opened my first bottle and delighted to find a deep chestnut color and rich flavor! Looking forward to adding this to many recipes beyond my weekend Maple Latte and topping for waffles, French toast and pancakes! Highly recommend!

Bought it specifically for making homemade bacon but I used it once on French toast just to try it out. Tastes as you expect, like a good quality maple syrup. I've had specialty maple syrups (like whiskey barrel or vanilla flavored) before and I prefer them as a condiment over the plain stuf. I prefer to use this type as an ingredient rather than a condiment.

It tastes like the maple syrup I experienced as a child. Color, texture, aroma, stickiness and all those yummy properties are as they should be. Try a touch of this maple syrup in an herbal tea: relax and enjoy.
