Best pads for wax application, keep them clean for long lasting use.

They???re good. Decent weight to the foam. They hold up when saturated with wax. Might feel a little scratchy to some, but I haven???t had any marring or swirls created by these.

Result like Pro

This is a great polisher for the average car enthusiast looking for a semi-pro finish. I say semi-pro because a professional usually has an array of tools at their disposal. 1. The picture makes it look cordless, which it is not. Expect to use an extension cord to reach everything. 2. There is some weight to it, but nothing you shouldn't expect from a quality item. 3. You don't need to apply a lot of pressure to get the job done, which is nice. Even lower speed was fine. 4. The handle moves into multiple positions but seems most usable when upright. 5. It wasn't until I used this did I realize how much polish this saves me. By hand I was using way too much. Very even distribution. 6. Mine makes a bit of noise while spinning though. Like a piece of plastic is rubbing or something. Not sure if this is normal. 7. Larger than I was expecting it to be. Not a big deal, just worth noting. 8. I choose the Meguiar's (DBP5) 534; DA Backing Plate and the Meguiar's DFF5 534; DA Foam Finishing Disc. Great combo.

Better than I expected. It's really use full and the deliver time was perfect.

I bought the kit for my 14 year old truck because the hood was starting to discolor. It is not a fast process but it worked and my truck looks good again.

Came with a tiny hole in the foam. Don't like that one bit! Others were fine...

This backing plate really steps up the performance of the original Meguiar???s Dual Action Polisher. The previous red backing plate was to small to generate heat and power to freely spin the pad. This new backing plate moves the pad even with some downward pressure to really work in the polish. Very pleased and great pricing.

It is a solid price of equipment but it vibrates so much that it translates to the user and will make your arm go to sleep. It seems well built and is nice but I can't give more than 3 stars due to the overall discomfort from vibration.

These are great! First time doing a paint correction and these with M105 did an amazing job! Can't believe the results. Will for sure continue to use these.

So far I like it very much. The variable speed is nice and the 5 inch pad with the velcro attach is nice. The unit is not to heavy and is easy to maneuver around with. The slow start allows you to start cutting or buffing without splattering around the compound or polish. The handle is adjustable for the angle you want to hold at. This replaces an old crafstmen single speed buffer that I had for 20 years. It is heavier than the craftsman but is easier to handle and more power so the pad does not slow down and stop unless you give is heavy pressure which is not needed. I compounded, then polished then waxed my wifes 4 year old car. It brought back the shine better than when it was bought new and better than my detailer who clay bared and waxed it 2x a year for me.

Great for the DA waxer. Strong and well built pad. Does the job in a most excellent fashion.

I use this pad with my Harbor Freight DA Polisher and it seems to do its job just fine. Don't expect this to eliminate heavy defects but it does well removing light to medium defects. I used it with Meguiar's ultimate compound. Better cutting may be possible with a more intense compound. I have found this pad to last longer than a similar one offered by Chemical Guys. I have the orange hexalogic cutting pad from chemical guys and it heats up very quickly. I had only purchased one and used it pretty heavily one day. As a result, it permanently sunk/shrinked in the middle/center and became somewhat unusable after being used on and off for a few hours. I used this Meguiar's pad in the same manner and it remained much cooler and developed no flaws.
