I used it after cleaning and drying my convertible top on my 1992 Miata smells great like candy (not sure if that's a plus) but it leave a shiny surface like its new.

Get a big scrub brush, some paper towels, maybe a toothbrush for fine work and clean that enclosure. It make two or three cycles of: spraying, scrubbing, and wiping down, but this stuff is great for getting all the grime out of those tiny Tolex texture crevices. Just do it outside because is smells a little and wear gloves as it leaves some kind of wax (conditioner?) residue. Also, mask off any fabric and exposed electronics.

It worked pretty good. I had to clean it twice, but it was no fault of the product, the soft top was real dirty. It gives the soft top a nice sheen when it dries.

Works as it says. Well worth the purchase. I follow up with MusicNomad Premium Amp amp; Case Cleaner amp; Conditioner. The two makes even old cases look new (After patching or coloring missing fabric)

Meguiar's has gotten something of a reputation for cleaning the Tolex covering on guitar amps clean and in good shape, An old amp or speaker cabinet will shine rather like new when cleaned with this. One thing that works for me is to not overdo the amount of product applied. A little squirt and a rub with a microfiber cloth will loosen old dirt from gigs long gone and maybe remove some of that suspicious smoky odor known to permeate music venues. So, give the Toles a squirt, rub it in and remove with a water dampened cloth. I guarantee you a fabulous career. I hear Taylor insists her back up band use only this stuff. Bought this to clean guitar amp Tolex. Works well, though stinks a little. Soak it for a while and use a toothbrush.

I saw a YouTube that used this product to clean the rubber-y outside of a guitar amplifier. I was surprised at how well it worked.

I didn't think my top was very dirty until I cleaned it with this cleaner. Alot of dirt came out of it and looks better.

I used this product to clean the Tolex covering on my Fender Amplifiers (66 Vibro Champ Amp, 71 Super Reverb Amp, and 72 Vibrolux Reverb). Worked really well. Be advised that before using this stuff, it would be wise to wipe the exterior of you amps with a DAMP rag/washcloth. I used a shower "back" brush to scrub the tolex.....you'll get a light "soapy" foam. Just wipe off the excess with a clean damp rag and repeat if necessary. My amps looks like they just came from the factory.

Follow directions and outcome is great. Our Jaguar XK8 set outside for 6 months in Florida sun and under trees. Lots of green growth on convertable top. Do not scrub hard or with hard brush. Try first application as directed and after rinsing let set over ight. Remaining stains were gone by next day.

I read a bunch of reviews for this product for cleaning up and restoring the exterior wrap on vintage guitar amp and speaker cabinets. This worked perfect. Easy to use and not to toxic. Applied with old socks and hand rags.

A little of the Meguiar's convertible top cleaner and a soft horsehair brush leaves my black fabric top looking like new. A little goes a long way. Spray the top well to wash off the loose dirt, then spray a little cleaner and use the brush, the rinse. It's quick, easy and leaves my top looking great.

Instructions said to use more than I needed to. I used 1;2 bottle bit could have used 1;4. Took forever to rinse ll the bubbles out.

Bought this a year ago, it seemed to work although it takes a lot of rinsing. It sat on a climate-controlled shelf in my apartment, until I noticed today that the bottle had fallen in on itself (as if it had melted!), leaked super concentrated soap everywhere, and made a huge mess. This stuff eats paint if it sits. The shelf is ruined, and even the spray cans sitting on it are flaking. Nice product, but please package it better.
