Our box did not come with any instructions! My grandkids have figured out a few of the tricks, but you need instructions.Will contact the manufacturer.Revised my review after finally finding the instructions. I had to tear the cardboard out of the box to find the instructions buried underneath.

Really fun game for the kids esp when we are staying at home right now. I bought it as a gift for friend;s kid. Kids would have something interesting to play with while keeping inside the home. Adults can also participate without being bored.

I have this to my 8 year old nephew at Christmas. It was a huge hit, and he and his 10 year old brother proceeded to try all of the tricks on us for the next several hours. They're just challenging enough to be cool and a little mysterious, but easy enough for a young kid who can read the instructions to learn. Prepare yourself to be the audience for the same trick over and over, and mirror their excitement every time! It's worth it for the smiles. It meets the quality standards today other MD toys with work and cloth construction and great painted designs.

Very fun - tons of great magic tricks , and a wonderful storage box to keep everything in - but some of the tricks are a little too challenging for my five and seven-year-old grandkids- and To be honest I had trouble figuring some of them out

The illustrations were simple enough for our six year old grandson to present but difficult enough to challenge older children. My grandson love it.

I got this for my 6-year-old grandson. Some of the tricks were too advanced for him, (it's supposed to be for age 8 and up), but he was able to do others. He was so excited about it, he performed some of the tricks for his Zoom kindergarten class.

It's definitely more for younger kids, like maybe six-ish. I bought it for my 12-year-old. He likes it, so I guess my opinion doesn't matter much, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it for an older kid. All that said, it's actually pretty high quality for the price, and the tricks are cute and simple. Definitely a good buy for a kid interested in learning a few magic tricks.

This is a great magic set for beginners. The directions are easy to follow and the objects are well made. The only downfall is that the actual box does not have a closing mechanism so the storage is a little tricky.

I bought this kit for my grandson for Christmas. When he opened it, no instructions were included. Saturday morning the day after Christmas, I clicked on help on the Melissa and Doug website. They gave an 800 number and suggested that I call. After making one selection on auto answering, I was connected with a living person who kindly and immediately emailed the instructions to me. Just perfect. Hopefully, my grandson will love the kit now that he can use it.

Got as a gift. The recipient wasn't a fan but the items in the box were age appropriate and everything was very easy to learn. The other children were happy to play and learn

Great product. You get what you pay for.. HOWEVER- the directions for some of the tricks are a bit confusing even for me. It's worth buying, my son loves it, BUT it could be better.

High quality wooden pieces will last. Tricks are at different skill levels so they can do some immediately and work on practicing harder ones.

I love their products and this was no exception! My sons both received these a few years apart for Christmas and had so much fun putting on magic shows for the family! The box the tricks come in as well as the tricks are beautifully painted and decorated and the tricks were all easy enough for my young kids to learn and perform by themselves.
