Great set. I chose this one because it had the most money for the best price. I agree with other reviewers though, it needs a lid.

If I could write no stars, I would. This money is down right evil , they have taken every place on the bills and coins where it says 34;In God we trust 34; and put 34;In Toys We Trust 34; Maybe they trust in Toys and not in GOD. But that is not what our country was found in. It seems kind blasphemous to me or at least super offensive to God and me i think no one should buy their toys. if that's what they hope in. and maybe by losing their toy profit they can gain salvation

We've had play money before and it always get wrecked immediately. It's usually not well made or the pieces are flimsy. This money box actually contains sturdy plastic coins and paper money that is printed on sturdier paper. I was pleasantly pleased and it is getting lots of use as a toy but will also be used as a homeschool tool.

Perfect for teaching children about money and not having germs from real money all over hands and table. Lots of disgusting germs on actual money that I don't want on our furniture. Size, colors, and appearance of currency are accurate.

I am thrilled with this play money. I have a 9 7 4 2 yr old Gkids. We're going to play store. It's one of my favorite memories with my mom as a child. I love the Melissa Doug line of toys games.

As always, Melissa Doug deliver a great product! And as always, Melissa Doug need to figure out a way to slide some type of cover on their very nice boxes, so that kids can keep their stuff in the very nice box! Why they don't see this problem is beyond me. I mean, just stuff the money in a Ziplock bag send it to me because that's where it will have to be stored anyway after it's opened! And sadly, the nice box will just get thrown away bc what can you really do with it without a cover!? The same problem goes for many of their items. The magnetic dolls clothes are just 1 that comes to mind.

I really like this set, as does my daughter! Only part I'm not satisfied with, which of course I'm sure was an accident was I received two sets of 5 dollar bills rather than a set of 50 and a set of five. I didn't realize it until I started opening it and everything was jumbled in the wrong places. Hoping that can be resolved!

I love the tray, but I wish it had a lid. There is a lot of pieces, which is nice. We are using this for our homeschool math and it has been fun and useful!!

I would give this 4.5 stars because it does not have a lid to stop the money from coming out-but if you saw how excited my 11-year-old daughter was over this. She is the real money to play with all her dolls-so she want to take money and she's wanted it for a long time so I waited a probably too long. But everybody thought it was a really cool gift and she was so excited and it's very realistic. Like I said, the only problem is that it has no cover on top of it so it is wood almost like an open cash drawer.

Like all Melissa Doug toys, the quality is at its best. The money is real size and the child I gave it to almost thought it was real! Great for playing and learning. Play bookstore.....put round stickers on books (or masking tape) or play store with real food items or pretend, promote learning to communicate, social etiquitte, and math skills. Most of all, play with children - no matter how old you are.
