We love this set...great for boys (or girls) with a musical incline! Quality wise you can't get any better than Melissa and Doug. They hold up forever.

I don’t know how Melissa and Doug did it. But, these instruments are not very loud! My toddler can go crazy and I don’t end up with a headache like usual during music time. THANK YOU!

Kids love this headache maker. There isnt enough Excedrin to stop the head aches from coming. But the kids are happy. God I hear that infernal triangle in my slep.

My 11-month-old received this for Christmas and LOVES it! I thought we might need to save it for when he is a little older, since the box says it’s for ages 3. He doesn’t put everything in his mouth anymore, so there’s not a concern there. His favorites are the tambourine and the maracas. He also really likes the triangle, which I thought we might set aside for the time being. I wouldn’t leave a baby/toddler alone with these, but many children under 3 would enjoy playing with these under supervision. The cymbals don’t have the best sound, but everything else does.

Good Old Fashioned fun... though the cymbals are not so bright. Enough items to have every one join in, thereby taking away the annoying noise factor!
