Wooden instruments l liked, but the tambourine and marracas didn't have very good sound.

Can't believe so many good reviews on this item. Cymbals, triangle and maracas all sound terrible. I know it's just a set of toy. We have really good experience on some instruments toys from other brands. My 2-year-old boy really enjoys instrument time in his Music Together classes in past whole year so I think this one should be a perfect gift for him. Very disappointed.

I ordered this product to have a name on it and when I received it, there was no name...Great quality product, but now I have to go through the hassle of returning and reordering... or I may just do the personalizing myself.

There are a lot of small instrument sets to choose from. I picked this one (and paid extra for less) because it was supposed to be personalized. Arrived today and nothing. Checked all the instruments, only the company logo. Please avoid.

These instruments have held up over the last two years. The tambourine isn’t too loud but it is the loudest of the instruments in the set. The shakers are the perfect size for little hands while still big enough to make noise. I will buy this for a gift again.

I bought two of the Melissa and Doug music sets for my daughter's first birthday...they are both good quality, but I liked the other one better than this one, the clacker in this set doesn't work too well and there's another instrument I have no idea how to use in it. Still a fun little set, though, and my daughter seemed to enjoy it a lot.

I Should have listened to other reviewers! Is this's a JOKE? These Instruments They don't really ding, clap or clang like real instruments!! The Only one we like was the triangle. From what I see, I think it meant for babies more than for 36 months-6 years old since you have to protect babies eardrum from loud music. Other than that, there's not really anything to say about them. By the way, my daughter doesn't even want to play with it in her singing school class! and sit on the shelf! and she's rather uses 2 pencils to hit the table to make a sound rather using this instruments, Uses the envelope to clap! and the list goes on! I was hoping for a good deal from Melissa Doug since i bough from them in the past but I am so disappointed that I disappointed my own daughter with this Set.

Live the instruments- the wooden box it comes with is superfluous since it doesn't come with the plastic lid that this brand's products normally do- it would be a great storage container if it did.

I loved the product but they weren't securely tied down so when I received them they were rolling around in the package. The name is printed smaller than it looks in the picture also.
