Great toy set! My only complaint is that the tone block comes with a thick piece of dowel instead of a mallet like comes with a xylophone. It is a bit awkward to play. The toys all seem well made and function as expected for toy musical instruments.

This is a great little music set but I feel like a lot of the pieces are hard for my kids to play with. What I mean by that is it's really difficult to make noise with the clapper and and some of the other instruments. Other than that it's adorable!

I bought two of the Melissa and Doug music sets for my daughter's first birthday...they are both good quality, but I liked the other one better than this one, the clacker in this set doesn't work too well and there's another instrument I have no idea how to use in it. Still a fun little set, though, and my daughter seemed to enjoy it a lot.

I loved the product but they weren't securely tied down so when I received them they were rolling around in the package. The name is printed smaller than it looks in the picture also.

Nice set. I bought it for my 1 year old and she loves it (especially the maracas). It's labeled for 3 years and up but the only item I had to take away for now was the triangle as the metal stick used to play it could do some harm because of how thin and heavy the rod is (could easily hurt the throat or poke the eye etc.). For the most part though, the instruments are perfectly fine for younger children, too.
