What can be said enough in praise of this deceptively simple toy. My 26 month old plays with it pretty much every day. He's had it forever it seems. There's the expected way to play with it of course. That's good for a while. Then he decided to started to experiment with it. Stacking Lining them up Counting them Yelling out what number they have is still good but nostalgic fun for him now. He knows all his letters and can count up to 100. The same with what color they are. He loves to place them over there right number on our playmat also! WeE have a huge painters canvas over our half a room size wonder mat. We use washable markers and crayons on it and change his space about once a month. We just toss it in the wash. Then put a spare canvas on. They are incredibly fun to toss! Apparently they are nifty to kick. Recently he had pulled a space odessey on me and started using the green caterpillar base like a club. That's great to smack into the horse shoe pieces. This morning he had fun setting the shapes up right off their base and using the base to nudge them over. I'm positive he'll devise more games in the future. If you're looking for a toy that lasts and is fun and provides a great tool you can use to help educate your little one, this is a fantastic choice. A few of the shapes are getting a bit chipped on the edges but I can't complain since they are put through so much on a daily basis. They are generally played with on a play mat.

2 year old nephew loved it! Made lots of excited noises as he was opening it. He's very ahead of the game when it comes to counting and knowing his colors, so I felt like this was a really good step for him. He enjoyed taking the caterpillar apart and stacking the blocks, and putting them back. Great for eye hand coordination as well as counting and color naming.

Cute, sturdy, and brightly colored. A big hit with the two-year-old birthday girl! She started playing with it immediately and continues to enjoy it.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2016; sadly, I love it more than she does. In the 6 months that she has had it, she's only shown interest in it one time, and that was just to throw each of the pieces to different parts of her bedroom (she's 28 months old, so maybe next year???)

My 2yo daughter loves this. When she's not lookin I rearrange the numbered blocks and when she sees it she is mentally compelled to put it back in the correct order before she plays with anything else. Endless fun.
