This is the first toy assembly project that I have actually enjoyed. The other-brand kitchen I purchased left me swearing and in tears over pieces that didn’t fit easily without drilling or manhandling. This product is excellent - instructions were clear, extra pieces provided, all the holes lined up and everything just fit together perfectly. I was able to complete it in about an hour without a drill, cordless screwdriver or a husband to help. It is sturdy, anti-tip and all in one piece. It is about 3 feet wide and about 2 feet deep, and fits in a small living room without being obtrusive. More importantly, my daughter is yelling supermarket right now for me to come play with her. She enjoys ‘scanning’ and telling me my total, and demanding 10 coins for everything I buy - and is counting out all 10. It’s been a great tool for taking turns, counting, exchanging pleasantries and learning manners ( please, thank you, nice to see you again!). We have most of the melissa and doug grocery items, including the cardboard box ones. Here’s a tip - a lot of the packing material from this Fresh Mart is the perfect size to slip into those cardboard grocery boxes to keep them from crushing. I also sealed our boxes shut with clear packing tape so they last a little longer.

This might be the cutest and best quality toy I’ve ever purchased. My daughter absolutely loves it. It was a bit of a Christmas splurge but it’s worth every penny.

kids love this.....promotes the principles of sharing, cooperation, and sales at early ages. My 3 and 5 year old are so cute when they come up with adult-like grocery store scenarios when they play. Get this....but as you can imagine, its a large unit, so make sure you have a spot in the playroom/basement designated for it.

I never review items, but this is by far one of the cutest sets I've ever purchased. The directions were so easy to follow that putting it together was a breeze. Very sturdy, I can't wait for my daughter to see it.

This is great quality and took my husband about 30 minutes to assemble. My kids love the scanner part and the card reader to sign on. It’s a good size that leaves enough room for the kids to move around behind it but doesn’t take up too much space in my home. Not much more than our play kitchen and we just pull it out from the wall when an adult has a turn being the cashier. We bought the market accessories and the little shopping basket with food. I’ll be printing my own barcode stickers to place on the boxes so they can scan the barcodes.

Love it - awesome toy, but....2 problems: I don't like that the fridge door is made out of cheaper plastic instead of wood and 2, the cash drawer pulls all the way out. It doesn't have anything to stop it when opening for money. So every time kiddos open it it falls to the floor.

This is a cute edition to our preschool, easy to assemble, and the kids love it, especially the 3yr olds

Cutest toy I’ve seen in a long time. It does need to come with some accessories. For the price, you shouldn’t have to order all the “stuff” to go with it.

Bought this for our son (4) this past Christmas and so glad we did! As soon as i saw it online, i thought it was adorable but it was hard to find around the holidays. Got it on Overstock, paid $180, worth every penny! Easy to put together. Great quality! My son (and myself) have fun playing with it. I will say, be prepared to get stuff to go with it unless of course you already have food etc. I got him the grocery store metal basket, extra MD boxed food, and the grocery store set which is our favorite - get it bc you basically need it with the store. Highly recommend!

Excellent toy for my not quite 4 year old twin daughters. Assembly took a little while, but wasn't terrible. If you can use a screwdriver, you can assemble this. It has provided hours of fun for the girls so far, and it is sturdy and good quality. My only complaint is that the companion set is a must have, and they should have probably set this at a little higher price point and just included it with this. The companion set includes all of the accessories that you need to use this, such as an apron, some food, some play money, etc.

This is a great product! I really wish this had been out years ago! I purchased this for my 6 and 10 year old. Its short and geared toward a young child however 'store' is all my daughters play! We own 5 cash registers in the house so when I saw this I knew they would love it! They sit at the register with a chair as the height is low but otherwise they love playing with this! Very real effects-scanner is their best feature. Wish the register was a little more realistic however they love the credit card machine on the customer side. Very happy with this purchase!

Such a great pretend piece to add to any play kitchen! My kids just love this store! The scanner beeps, which they all like. I bought it to teach my kids to use the calculator in real life roles. The credit card reader has a scratch pad the kids can sign too, which is really neat. This is well made and is a good size for kids up to I would say 9 years old.

Super easy to assemble! I wish all toy manufacturers provided simple, easy to follow assembly instructions! My children are 6, 4, and 3 and we purchased as a gift for my 4 year old daughter who asked Santa for a “grocery store.” They love playing grocery store and take turns as the customer, bagger, and cashier. It is a bit small for my 6 year old (who is as tall for her age), but she still enjoys playing.

Absolutely adorable! my daughter loves it! (she is a tall 4 year old and it is a perfect size for her) so cute and can be used in so many ways not just a supermarket (deli, farmers market etc.). The scanning is what my daughter enjoyed the best and the fresh mart appears to also be very sturdy. Definitely recommend this product!
